Romarico Cibrian (Roma)

Romarico Cibrián February 26, 1985. Director.

Work. Advertising director from 2011- present at Central Films Mexico. Since 2016, he is documenting the life of Arly Velázquez, the only Mexican in the Winter Paralympic World Cup 2017 & PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. He´s the co- writer for the original screenplay “Una canción para Casandra” with José Miguel Arroyo and also for the screenplay “Abre los ojos” with María Greene 2018. Romarico´s work “Save the Children” was in the Cannes short list selection, 2017. He also worked as an Agency Producer at Lowe Mexico for 9 years until 2011.

Studies. He studied at Unitec University in Mexico City a degree in Ciencias de la comunicación, 2003-2007. Latin American documentary filmmaking workshop, 2010 at the CCC (Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica). Guillermo Arriaga´s screenwriting workshop in 2013. Workshop about directing actors under the direction of Luis Mandoky in 2014. Workshop for directing actors at the EICTV San Antonio de los Baños Cuba under the direction of the filmmaker Sthephen Bayly in 2015.
